Thumos Health Center now offers cupping, an ancient Eastern medical practice used for centuries to promote overall well-being, improve physical appearance, and to relieve many common ailments including neck and shoulder pain, the common cold, pneumonia and bronchitis. During a traditional cupping treatment, special cups are heated and used to induce a vacuum against the skin, thus creating stimulation similar to acupressure and promoting blood flow and localized healing.
